ASSET MANAGEMENT & DISPOSITION

Signet Partners conducted a series of asset management and disposition contracts for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation between 1991 and 2000 for non-performing mortgage loans, Owned Real Estate (ORE) and post-foreclosure residual assets emanating from 75 Receiverships. Contracts included Standard Asset Management and Disposition Agreement (SAMDA), Miscellaneous Asset Servicing and Disposition Agreement (MASDA), and a Standard Asset Management Agreement (SAMA) representing a combined book value exceeding $250 million. In addition, Signet was the managing general partner (RTC/FDIC as limited partner) for the resolution of judgments, deficiency and charge-off assets. As a fiduciary to the RTC and subsequently the FDIC, Signet had turnkey responsibility for the resolution of these assets exercising delegations of authority as much as $5 million per asset.
